3 journalers for this copy...
This is my second copy.
I saw this going cheap in a charity shop, so I grabbed it and will probably send it on to one of the BX'ers who wanted it previously.

This is so wonderful... I just received this book from Ruth013. Thank you!!! When I'll be done reading the book, I'll share my thoughts. The cover page is very different than the one here in Canada..., interesting.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I loved the writing and the feeling of serenity it gave me. I truly felt as if I was reading it while in a summer cottage by a lake. Somehow, I became part of the setting of the book, as an observer. The protagonist (Kate) explains that it is often the small incidents that change your life, not the big tragedies. This book is a perfect example of what she means. There is no point in holding on too tight to the past, to what happened or what should have happened. There is a moment when you just need to build your life upon what you have at the moment. I'll try to keep that lesson in mind.
I'm very excited to have gotten this from muzette at our unofficial meet-up in Montreal. I took it home with me to the States, so it's now been in three countries. Who knows where it will end up?
I'll read it as soon as I can (it may take awhile, though), and get it back out into the world. Thanks, muzette! It was fun to trade books in person, with such delightful lunch-mates.
