This is the 2nd novel of the ladies murder club series in which they try to solve some supposedly, hate crime murders. A very good read. Sal
Thanks for sharing this book through the BookRelay site. It arrived safe and sound and will be joining my ToBeRead pile.
I read this book a little while back and just realized that I didn't make a journal entry.
I'm not a huge Patterson fan, although I did like parts of this book more than I would have guessed. The pace and the suspense were good.
However, I found the discussions among the Women's Murder Club members quite unbelievable. Seems highly unlikely that someone as high up in the police department as Lieutenant Lindsay Boxer would blithely break all the rules, all the time, to discuss top-secret confidential information with the others in the group. For some reason this really bugged me and put me off. I don't know why it bothered me so much, but it did intrude into my enjoyment of the book and distracted me from the plot, which included some good twists and turns.
I'm sending this one on its way as a RABCK birthday surprise as it is on dawnmomoffour's wishlist.
