I read quite a few of these, but eventually gave up on them. It looks as though Lahaye and Jenkins created another wave of interest in "end times prophecy." It is unfortunate that this particular view of "end times" and understanding of Apocalyptic Literature in the Bible has become such a predominant one. It seems to me that there are other ways to understand this literature. And by ignoring those other points of view, I sense that many people are missing out on a broader and more fulfilling experience.
