When I was a teenager, I was completely OBSESSED with Tanith Lee. But now I am in my 30s and it's time to let someone else enjoy these teen fantasy books.

I think I read this as a teenager, but can't remember it at all. Love anything to do with unicorns, so can't wait to give it a go.
I quite enjoyed this little story, A lovely twist on the usual unicorn legend and it's lovely to see it's not white, and fluffy, and cute, which seems to be all you see around at the moment. This is a unicorn with attitude, one lured to this strange world which is far from the perfect one it left. As it's aimed at a younger reader, it doesn't have as much back story or depth as I would have liked, but it still leaves you wondering and asking questions. It would be nice to track down the sequels to see if they are answered.

First time I heard of Tanith Lee... Black Unicorn turned out to be a strange little fantasy story. A decent read. The prose and the way the plot unfolded was a bit too simplistic for my liking, but it definetely was a pleasant little book.
A quick and not demanding read. While not a masterpiece of literature or something and possibly aimed mostly to a teen/young adult audience, one can finish it in one day and it keeps one's interest for sure .
I think Peeve was my favourite character lol

Thanks once again for sharing rmg and dark-draco!

Thanks again for the RABCK parcel! It looks like this book started out with a lot of love from the original journalers. I will read and release!
