School nativity stories from a former school inspector in the Yorkshire Dales. Will pass this around the Manchester group if anyone wants a bit of a giggle, then save it for wild release at the Christmas markets.

Quite sweet and fun. I love the Yorkshire pithiness (Mary: 'I'm going to have a babby and it ain't yours') though Phinn does admit embroidering and embellishing, which is a shame. I don't know, maybe my fear of Catholicism (I'm still scared that they'll dash out with big nets to try to recapture me if I go too near to a church)makes me extra sensitive to anything that might warrant that dread adjective 'heartwarming' in association with small children and Nativity plays. This is as near as I dare venture....good grief I am a sad individual. Ignore me. This is a charming book. To be taken to the next meeting to pass around before Constantweader's Xmas release. Why am I awake at 5am?

caught this at the last saturday meetup. What a delightful little book! One of the only books to ever make me actually LOL. Totally worth a read and highly reccomended!
Now reserved for a mass release at the Christmas Market.

I took this from the Manchester meet. I thought my grandkids would like it.
I found this hilarious and it made me laugh out loud several times. Over the years I have been to several Nativity plays that have been similar to some of the ones in this book.
I asked my Nana for this book for my NSS partner.
Thank you horseryder! We read some of these funny Christmas stories as we ate Christmas lunch. What a great NSS parcel!
I read this on the bus on the way home from meeting soulbalm & wyldetwo in Edinburgh. I really enjoyed it & got a few funny looks as I chuckled away to myself!
