Got it and reading it as first book of 2009! Were told it is worth reading, so I want to give it a go!!! :0)

I have just finished reading Twilight and man(!) that was thrilling!!! I was very surprised with me being so much involved with the story, especially because I was sure I wouldn't have liked it as much when I was at its beginning; it really sounded like a teenie story, something I would have never gotten interested in and would have stopped reading before I got to the word end (what a bad habit of mine, still I can't really help it! When I don't like a book I usually give it up before I finish it). Instead, Twilight grew gripping! And I couldn't put it down, especially from its 3/4 when there's a sort of an unexpected twist! I spent 2 hours reading today afternoon and I couldn't put my eyes off the book!!! I honestly don't much like Bella, as unpopular as it may sound, and neither Edward is one of my favourites. The first one is way too bothering with her constant "I am not worth it, I am not worth that", and perfect Edward is too aware of his being way too perfect to be true and I have the constant impression that he boasts about his amazing skills, a behaviour that I don't much like on anyone, less than ever on a vampire! LOL- If I have to name a favourite of mine, I would say I am Alice's fan the most, she is great!

Wow! I cannot believe how fast this book arrived from Italy! I can't get a card to arrive this quickly to a neighboring state. lol.

I am looking forward to this book after reading all the forum posts and the book reviews in the magazines/papers. I'm so excited. I am finishing another book today but should have this one started tomorrow.

I must admit to liking this book! I didn't think I would because I knew from the reviews it was geared to a teen audience but I was curious. So I was pleasantly surprised! An interesting twist to the vampire legacy to which I'm a late-night watcher of all movies of gore and guts. lol. While the beginning had a bit too much fluff for my taste the story does pick up - so stick with it. I think the last third with its surprises really made the book! Curious about the sequels too!

I have Clawdette's addy so as soon as the snow clears (in the morning) this will be on its way. Enjoy!

this is the 2nd copy of Twilight that i have recieved. I remember when looking for this book in a ray/ring, I found one then had someone respond about a 2nd one. I said I had found the first one but thanks anyway..well, I don't remember which one was first..but since I recieved the other book first, I am going to go ahead and pass this one on to the next reader. Will journal when on it's way.

2/12/09-it turns out I don't have another copy of this...so I will be reading this..but I have a few other books before this one..I have a few readers who are interested in it after I am done with it. will journal and pass it on when read.
