From the cover:

"The Unbearable Lightness of Being is a story of irreconcilable love and infidelities in which Milan Kundera addresses himself to the nature of twentieth century "Being", offering a wide range of brilliant and amusing philosophical speculations. First published in 1984, Kundera's masterly novel encompasses the extremes of comedy and tragedy, and was at once hailed by critics as a contemporary classic."

"There are novels that are tragic, or entertaining, and this one is both. There are very few that give a fresh perspective on existence, and force the reader to reasses his own life and attitudes." --Sunday Times

Oh, this has taken me so long...
I "captured" this book at the Renton Library about two months ago, and it wasn't until I got home that my eyes caught the yellow sticker in its back...
I logged in and found this incredible place, and learnt about Mary, who had released the book in Downtown Seattle.
I was so amazed at the existence of something like Bookcrossing, that I wanted to come in later to post my comment in detail. And "later" turned into.. almost eight weeks!
Now I did not want to let one more day go by without popping in and saying that "Unbearable..." is with me right now. As soon as I am done with Ibsen's "The Doll House", it will be Kundera's turn. And then, the book will roam about again, free.
Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year for all Bookcrossers around the world!
