Inkheart
6 journalers for this copy...
I stumbled across this at St. Vinnie's thrift store. I so loved the story that I picked up this second copy to share with others.
I am offering this as an International Bookring.
Bookring Rules:
1) When you receive the book, please journal it so that the group knows where it has landed.
2) Please take care of the book. Others want to read it and would be disappointed to receive a destroyed book. Take care of it as if it were your own.
3) Plan on keeping the book for no more than 30 days. If you think you might need more time, please make note as a journal entry. If you would like to participate in the ring but know that you can’t read it in the allotted time, I will gladly add you toward the end of the list. Be considerate to the others in the bookring... please, do not stall the book.
4) When you’re ready to pass the book along, PM the next person on the list to get their address. Journal again when you've sent it on. Let everyone know what you thought of the book and where you’ve sent it. Set the book’s status code to “traveling”.

I mailed Inkheart off to lucy-lemon via the U.S. postal service. I hope it has a successful trip to Wales and I hope lucy-lemon is as captivated by this story as I was.

Oh my god, I am so excited to read this! It arrived today, along with another bookring (and 2 arrived yesterday) but this has gone straight to the top of the reading list. I've just finished my library book too, so I've sent my boyfriend home and am going to read Inkheart with a bowl of salted popcorn. Bliss.

I finished this at lunchtime today, and it was such a good book! I really, really enjoyed it. Definitely one of the best books I've read this year so far. Thank you so much for sharing :-)
PMed WelshHelen for her address.

Arrived in the last couple of days, thanks, lucy-lemon. I've got a couple of ring books ahead of this one but should get to it fairly soon.
I must admit that this book worried me for a while :-) It took a little time for me to become involved in it but once I did, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved Dustfinger and Farid and thought that the Magpie was a worse baddie than Capricorn. One thing I especially enjoyed was the book extracts at the beginning of each chapter and please make sure that you don't miss the lovely little poem at the beginning of the book.
I'm so glad that I finished this before seeing the movie and can certainly see Paul Bettany as Dustfinger :-)
I'm hoping to get hold of a copy of the sequel pretty soon and will be offering it on a ring if anyone's interested :-)
Thank you so much for sharing, imawinn2. I've requested DitteL's address and will get the book in the post as soon as I have the address.

Sorry, I forgot to journal that I'd posted this to DitteL on 29th December.
Picked it up at the post office today. I'll just have to finish my current read (I've still got around 300 pages to go) and then I'll start reading this one.
Thanks for sending it WelshHelen and thanks for sharing imawinn2

I'm so happy that I got a chance to read this book. It's absolutely wonderful! and I've already reserved a copy of the sequel at the library.
Meggie reminded me of my self when I was a girl. I was always reading and I spend almost every break in school at the school library looking at the different books and even playing 'find that book' with fellow bookcrosser christina82.
I've just checked when the movie premieres here in Denmark, but sadly I've a couple of months to wait.
I already got sky-so-blue's address and will post the book within the next couple of days.

I'm sorry to report that Inkheart seems to be stalled by sky-so-blue. After several attempts to urge this person on to forward this book, it seems they are unable or unwilling to do so. I will be looking for a replacement copy and will contact the rest of those who signed up for this ring when I get the bookring moving again. Sorry for the disappointment and inconvenience.

Due to the kindness of katrinat, we now have a replacement copy of Inkheart and are able to continue this bookring. katrinat had just sent out a copy as a "ray it forward" and asked that it continue on to TheDunedan. From there the Inkheart story will continue its journey from England to Norway, the United States, Japan and France. Many thanks, katrinat!!

This book has washed ashore at the Lost Book Island after not being heard from for many months. This new arrival will be shown to a room and be allowed a bit of rest before being introduced to the many fun things to do here at the island.
All around there are books sipping cool drinks under shady palms while other books participate in a wide variety of beach sports. There is plenty of sand, surf and sun here for all of the lost and wayward books to enjoy.
It is hoped that very soon a new journal entry will come to rescue this book from the island and send it back out into the BookCrossing world so that it may continue on its journey. It is hoped that the new journal entry will tell all the interested parties where this book has been this long time and where it will be traveling to next.
