I took this book from a charity shop in England. I wanted to read it myself and then bookcross it. It turned out that I have already read this book a few years ago, but I still enjoyed it. The atmosphere is very holiday-ish which is always nice. Now I will put it on the shelves of the OBCZ in Tilburg.

Ik lees graag boeken die een link hebben met Ierland en daarom kon ik dit boek natuurlijk niet laten liggen. Super!
Ondertussen heb ik dit boek in het nederlands en daarom zal ik dit exemplaar binnenkort terug naar de zevensprong brengen.

I brought a few books to the OBCZ today, and brought some back again, of course ;-)
Lovely! One of the characters described retsina as a brush cleaning liquid, and I can fully agree with that! Other than using every local specialty as gorgeous, Ms. Binchy does give us some tongue-in-cheek descriptions like this one, though sparsely, and still succeeds in painting a lovely island, where most people care for each other, and tourists will find a way to sort out their lives. A joy to read!

Dit boek gaat in mijn tas en gaat mee op vakantie om te lezen, mocht ik er tijdens de vakantie aan toe komen (want er gaat een hele tas mee:) ) dan laat ik het boek na het gelezen te hebben achter in Slovenië.

Not my kind of book, read the first 20 pages but couldn't get into it so left it in Slovenia and hope the finder will enjoy it more as I did.
