The thing I enjoy most about the Thursday Next books are all the puns, no matter how cheesy. I don't always know quite what is going on because of all the jumping about in time and fiction, but somehow it doesn't matter.

Received this one in the mail. THANX!!
What an odd (and fun) book. I found myself wishing I was more intimate with "the classics" because several of them are visited in this book. At first I wasn't sure I was willing to read it - it took me a while (like the first third of the book) to become enamored with the story. Once I dropped my stodginess and embraced the book it was much fun. Now it is off to cheer "HennaGoddess" in New Hampshire and to enjoy some more cold weather.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, ciloma, for sending this along to me! I am really looking forward to reading this series.
I actually read this at the end of September but totally forgot to journal it. I'm really enjoying the Thursday Next series so far, and I just started the third book in the series. I'm planning to hold on to this at least until I finish the series (when reading a series, I like to have the ability to go back to the earlier books and read bits if I forget something.) After I'm done, I'll probably pass it along.
