Caught at BC meet-up. I've read the other six, so I might as well find out how it ends ;)
My appreciation of the HP series had taken a serious dive with books 4 and 5, which I found contradictory and boring, but book 6 had restored some of the earlier pace and (dare I say it) magic of the first three.
Book 7 was a worthy end to it all. Even when Rowling still struggles to plug her plot holes, the emotional reward made me forgive her in the end.
[ETA: book is now off to America as RABCK]

Received in the mail today from MeGeerts. Thanks so much for the RABCK!!! I've been wanting to read the last in this series for awhile. My young children noticed right away that the cover of the book was different from any of the other Harry Potter books we have. I told them that the book came all the way from the UK. I've always heard that the English version is slightly different from the American version. I'm looking forward to finding out. In any case, the kids think this book is very exotic. My daughter said its probably the only one like it in the United States...LOL. Thanks again for thinking of me!!!
