Well I finally read the book. I was really look forward to reading this book, so I feel a bit let down. It wasn't as good as I was expecting. Half the time I wanted to smack the main character and ask what was she thinking only to read that she is not. I did enjoy the ending and will try to read the next one to see if it gets better now that she has a speck of common sense.

Just got this in today's mail. Great timing too as I have the flu and just want to cuddle up with a book. Thanks JPandJo!

This was the perfect book to read while having the flu. It is just a nice light read. My feelings matched yours JPandJo about wanting to smack the main character. Yes I do remember being young and unwise with my money but not that bad! It was slightly stressful reading how she was avoiding the truth of her situation. Thankfully she starts to come around in the end. I do want to read the next book in this series to see if she stays on the path to common sense. :)

Entertaining mind-candy of a book. Fluffy reading, a modern fairy-tale - nothing deep or thought-provoking here. Perfect for the beach or travel. The main character, Becky, shops - I mean SHOPS and SHOPS, until her spending and life is spinning out-of-control. At first I didn't get it, but then, it dawned on me - she had a boring life and shopping was her escape and addiction! The story and character grows on you and the last half of the book was hard to put down. I did enjoy this book and look forward to reading the next in the series. Thanks for passing this on, JPandJo!

Well, what can I say except that I first read the second book off this series and than this book so.
But it was really funny to read and I will look that I can read more from this author.
The good about BookRings/Ray is that you can try a author you never have read before and mainley you will like it.

so the book goes over the oecan back to the USA.....

.....and the book arrived in my mailbox today, August 5, safe and sound. What a long trip! I look forward to reading this one as I've heard good things about it. This was a great surprise as I'd totally forgotten I'd signed up for the bookring. I'll try and read it soon and get it moving as fast as I can. Thanks, everyone, for passing it on and thanks especially to JPandJo for creating the bookring!

This was a fun read in between some more serious stuff. Hey, I like to shop as much as the next person, but it's hard to believe that a character could be THAT obsessed with buying clothes. Still, there are lots of people in serious debt and that's probably how they got there. I probably won't look for the other books in the series but I had been curious about this one. Now I know! Thanks so much for including me in this bookring. The book now gets sent to: .........(sorry, checking).......IACBY.

What a cute book!

I must admit that I was starting to stress whenever the main character would get herself deeper into debt... :o) I literally had to put the book down for a little bit before I could continue! I just wanted to shake her up a bit! The second half of the story is great, and overall, this was a fun read. It should be fun to see the book transformed into a movie version.

Sending to Rern when I get a pm back!

This book returned home yesterday.

I'm shocked at how good of shape it is in for having traveled the world.

Not sure what to do with it next. Most likely a local release.
