TBR, but sending it right now to Fflloorr!!!!

Update: Since I'm one of the few- very few- people who didn't enjoy the book sooooo much :O, this book will take a little trip around Spain and then will go to Portugal, to Fflloorr's private collection where it will be far more appreciated.

Great, great book! I haven't had this much fun in a long time. This books has it all: time travel, cloning, werewolves, vampires, you name it!
This book is full of literary references and all the people have a special love for books.
I can´t wait to read the next one in the series.
Thanks Gyd for lending me this book. I think I'll buy a copy for my private collection.

Got it in yesterday's mail and already I've read half of it, which is a pity, because it's one of those highly enjoyable books that ought to last long. I'm having great fun with it; so much so that it's hard not to hold everyone I know by the elbows and shake them shouting: "you ought to read this! you ought to read this!", or not to raise my head every fewpages to share a joke or a witticism with the people I live with.
A truly enjoyable book. Thanks, gyd! (PS: Lovely bookmark, too :) )

Very funny, full of winks to the well read reader; the plot is maybe a bit too fantastic and there are some loose ends, but nevertheless it was fun to live for a while in a world in which art and literature have such a capital importance in people's lives (as oppossed to football and trash-tv). I'll try to find the second in the series :)
Thanks, Gyd!

Just arrived today in the mail. Thanks Atenea. Well, your opinions really are intriguing me a lot, so I hope to read it very soon and... opine myself!

I just am into the middle and I am agreed with all the other comments: it's a great book. Funny, ingenious, witty, literary... I am continuosly reading short pieces to my husband and telling him how good the books is!
I already have been making some field search and there is a very interesting site about the writer and his "own world" into Next's adventures as LiteraTec. I had to share with us:
Jasper Fforde page
When the book will be finished I plan to buy my own copy and perhaps the sequels, too :-)
Have I to send it to another BC? I just thought it a Bookring but... I can't see any list around.

I loved it! I had so much fun with Thursday Next that I had to rush out and buy this one and the rest of the series for my Private Collection. I guess this says it all! :)
I also had trouble not telling everyone I know how good this book is or sharing all the bits and pieces I liked best. If you're curious, just pick it up and you won't regret it!
Thanks fflloorr for sharing this wonderful book with me!

Fell totally in love with this book, entirely in love, absolutely in love.
Love Thursday Next and her world, the author only allows us small glimpses of that totalitarian England.
Can't help to keep thinking that this would make an excelent RPG.

Obrigado pelo empréstimo Florbela. O livro está ser óptimo. Adoro o lado James Bond da Next, as discussões à volta de livros e as visitas a romances e poemas. O lado Bridget Jones é que nem tanto. :-)

Soberbo, deliciosa leitura , um must para qualquer book lover, de what ifs e etc, leiam, se nao lerem.. piety on you....
