I liked this book enough to pick up the second one. I did not warm to the Edward character though. He struck me as quite demanding and controlling, which turned me off. I can see how the romance has appealed to so many teen girls, however. It's perfect true love for that age group.

Thank you for sending me the books. Sorry for taking so long to post. I let mom read Twilight first. I think she liked it, but is more into adult vampire novels (as opposed to teen/young adult). I'm almost finished with it, then I'll pass it on to my sister and niece in Dallas, TX.

I recommend this book to anyone who likes vampires, romance, teen/young adult books, or anyone who has watched and likes the movie. This is my second time reading the book and I still like it (maybe even more than before).

this book is great! i had a great time reading it. i passed the book along to a friend that really wanted to read it. im planning on going on and reading the next book to the series as soon as i can... i love this book!!!
