At first glance this looks like a beautiful book. It's cover is as interesting as the synopsis and I can't wait to get started on it... although it may be a few days as I'm in the midst of moving house. Still it's nice to have something to look forward to.
ETA 10 Sept. So I finally started reading this book this morning on the tram - WOW what a fantastic 'explosive' (pardon the pun) start! Can't wait to get further in...

I'm still reading this, but I got a little sidetracked by other books on the TBR list. This is back to the top of the reading pile and (finger's crossed) I'll get it finished before Christmas.
I finally finished this book last night. For various reasons, it's taken me a while, mostly because I've been reading other books at the same time.
WOW! what a rollercoaster of emotions. From the explosive start right to the end, I was still guessing what was going to happen next, and it was great that it wasn't so predictive and I was wrong. At times it did seem a little far-fetched, but for the most part, it was highly enjoyable (once I got beyond the slight nausea of the burn scenes).
I have no problem with recommending this to all, and can't wait to see what the author comes up with next.
Thanks Cannongatebooks for sharing this with me.
