SynopsisSome books bought secondhand at a village jumble sale; in the front a name, scrawled in a childish hand. This is all it takes for the gossip to start again - gossip about little Izzy Haddon and the identity of her mystery father. But as the story unravels, things are not at all as they appear to be; the truth, when it finally emerges, is quite extraordinary.
I uaually like this author, but didn't enjoy this story.
