From the back of the book:

Slaughterhouse-five is one of the world's great anti-war books. Centering on the infamous firebombing of Dresden, Billy Pilgrim's odyssey through time reflects the mythic journey of our own fractured lives as we search for meaning in what we are afraid to know.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It had this dark, sattircal humor to it that I can appreciate. The very matter-of-factly way Billy deals with absurd situations, like time travel and alien abduction is sometimes so ridiculous, that it makes we want to shake him. I loved the writing style of Vonnegut. I can't really explain what I like about it. It is very unique, nothing I've ever come across before.

#375 on the 1001 books to read before you die.

This was quite an amusing read - I enjoyed the book very much. Parts went over my head a little, but not so that the flow of the book was affected. Overall - a good read.
