A lovely exposition of the competing (and sometimes complimentary) claims of human affection and spiritual detachment. How co-incidental that there is a passing mention of Steeleye Span, (not Steely Dan) the soundtrack of my youth, which brought on a "little peach-blossom feeling" of my own...
