I bought this book because it was picked for the book of the month for the Guardian book-talkboards years ago. Lots of people used to vote for books to be picked as book of the month but few people actually read the book of the month. Anyway - I couldn't really get into this one.

This is an unusual story but one that I thought was cleverly written, dealt with some tricky subjects and was enjoyable
