i really liked this book...i have read several others by bohjalian and always enjoy his writing style. however, to get serious enjoyment and relevance out of this book, you should be pretty well acquainted with the great gatsby...the movie should suffice...and interesting "what if" or sequel to the fitzgerald novel. enjoy...
