Sucker Bet - A Tale of Vegas Vampires
8 journalers for this copy...
A wild night with a stranger was not in the cards for Gwenna. But that's what happened when she met the ruggedly handsome detective Nate Thomas. Their passion made her feel alive again. But when Donatelli catches wind of the tryst, he's determined to clean house, with Nate the first on his to-off list. Gwenna knows she hit the jackpot with Nate and won't let anyone stand in the way. But both soon realize they have far more enemies than Donatelli- both on the strip and underground.
Volume 4 of the Vegas Vampires Series.
Follows the three books ahead ...

Be cautious, the colours of the bookcover will hurt your eyes *bg* Probably it is a good advice to wear sunglasses ...
The story about the vampire slayer´s loop is nice but it´s only a small cover for a whole lot of love-making between Nate & Gwenna. Poor Gwenna was living like a nun for three centuries so I understand her needs. ;-)
I can´t stand Ringo & Kelsey though, I think they´re dump-couple-from-hell and they both screw on my nerves. Alexis and Ethan also get to play their part. While Ethan is also screwing on my nerves, I still like Alexis who had a cool part beeing at the concert with Kelsey & Gwenna. There´s also a little about Brittany, Corbin and their baby. I think, the series is now over - or does anybody want to read about Roberto Donatelli´s lovelife or -much worse in my opinion- more Kelsey & Ringo?
Thank you for letting me join this very interesting ring, Bean-Sidhe. I´ve already asked for the next adress, so the vampires can travel on.

Auf dem Weg zu Tiamat-muc, da Schneefee erst mal übersprungen werden möchte!
24. August: started reading
29. August: Of course I liked this one too. Gwenna is a really charming character and I'm glad she has freed herself from Roberto and her grief at the loss of her daughter. And I agree with Annie - I can't stand Ringo too. Kels is tolerable, but I really disgust him!

Have a nice read! :-)
Did you realize, that there is no vampire-human relationship in any of these books? One of them always turns so both are the same... go figure ;)
Thanks for the ring!
I'll ask for the next adress and send it on quickly.
Just read this post b annieselan:

Whoa - no!! :D
Edit:
Edit: Around about the preparatory class for the baby in part three and the vampires behavior in it I have had enough - I tried to get a bit further but to no end... I give up on the series - sorry I kept the book for so long.
Part three and four are on their way to Schneefees parents. They might be there for a bit, bevor she can get them journaled, so don´t be alarmed, if they stay travelling for a week or two.
This book was a lot better than Vol. 3, but I agree to Annieselan - in my opinion the series is over. I don't need a volume 5. But thanks a lot, Bean-Sidhe, for sharing! I was really looking forward to the books.
