I was sold by the line linking him with Garcia Marquez as one of the best Latin American Writer's, lets hope it lives up to its claims!

I've pulled this from the dusty book shelves for Move-It March, these are books I was excited to read when they arrived but, for one reason or another, they never get anywhere near the top of the reading pile. I have 30-50 pages to give the book a go, if it's a non-starter it'll be released that week, if it's great, bonus, I keep reading.

I picked this out for the Never Judge a Book by its Cover Release Challenge (wk 31, a cover where the image wraps around the book - the cover is the painting Rolla by Henri Gervex).
I didn't get that far and started to think this isn't for me and then I read the reviews and decided not to continue. From the sounds of the reviews this is a very clever book where you are kept unsure throughout and whilst I used to really enjoy books like that I have gone off of them of late. This will be released in the next day or two.
