Was für ein tolles Buch. Erstaunlicherweise lässt es sich sogar auf englisch gut lesen, und das, obwohl ich sonst um englische Bücher einen großen Bogen mache.
Schon allein die kleine Zwischengeschichte zu Leonardos Gemälde ist super!
Das Ende ist dann ein bisschen absurd, erinnert mich an die Bücher von Paasilinna, in denen ja auch oft Leute auf unkonventionelle Weise sterben.

Heute aus dem Briefkasten befreit... Vielen Dank fürs zusenden und den Tausch! Wird im Zuge der Bergabbau-Challenge Vom Mount Everest zum Brocken gelesen Thema Januar 2020: schlechtes Wetter/ Naturkatastrophen
ich mochte das "absurde" Ende... wobei so absurd ist es eigentlich gar nicht...
Gut... Böse... wer siegt am Ende? Und wie weit ist ein Mensch bereit zu gehen, für ein bisschen "Glück" - wobei hier etliche Definitionen, oder besser gesagt, was wir einzelne Menschen als Glück erachten, zum Vorschein kommt...
Auch auf englisch kurzweilig zu lesen.
