What a nice book! Thanks very much for this surprise, it looks beautiful and I hope, I'll be able to read it as soon as possible.

It's my first book from/for Puerto Rico.

At first the straightforward narrative style ably conveys a wealth of background information especially about thr Russian revolution and the time before WW I, but soon digressions to explain historical events and long monologues overwhelm the plot. The fictive story about Anna Pavlova gets more and more boring and appears in the end far from reality.

Beim Stichwort ANGORA drängt sich mir zunächst ein kuschelig weiches Tier auf. In erster Linie denke ich dabei an das Fell, in zweiter an Flaum oder Daunen. Und so komme ich zum Schwan, dessen "Unterfell" ich mir sehr weich vorstelle, obwohl ich nie im Leben einen anfassen oder gar kraulen würde! :-)

Komma hat das Buch für das meet-up mitgenommen, als sie mich in Würzburg im Krankenhaus besucht hat. Leider konnte ich nicht mit ins "Wunschlos glücklich" kommen, obwohl ich ganz nah dran war *seufz*. Vielleicht findet sich ja unter den Teilnehmern ein Liebhaber, ansonsten wandert das Buch in eine der OBCZs.

Das Buch macht hier kurz Zwischenstation bald darf es in ein schönes Buchregal.
