One of my favourite's of Atwood's works, Alias Grace tells the story of Grace Marks, notorious murderer or perhaps innocent victim at the centre of a real-life scandal in 1840s Canada. Seen partly through Grace's eyes and partly through the eyes of a psychologist attempting to uncover her true memories, the novel throws up more questions than it answers.
