Very sweet story!

The hour was late and Mr. Bear was tired. But he could not sleep - however he tried and whatever he tried.

SNORE, SNORE went Mrs Bear. TICK-TOCK, TICK - TOCK went the clock. Would he never get to sleep?

I cannot remember where I first saw this picture book
but now I have my very own copy :o)

Since the last JE I've become a mother of a son and a daughter. The boy is almost three now and this weekend I fetched the book from the shelf. We read it to him in German.

Es wurde immer wieder mal gelesen. Dann war es einige Zeit (Jahre) in der Versenkung verschwunden,
und gestern habe ich es hervorgekramt und meinen Kindern und dem Besuchskind vorgelesen.
Alle (2. und 4.Klasse) haben Englisch in der Schule, und es sah so aus, als ob sie wirklich meinem Vorlesen folgten :o)
Setze das Büchlein auf PC.

Tonight I had my son (now 10) read it to his sister (now 8) - so proud!
