This is a brilliant but disturbing book. It takes a while to get into but please do persevere - you will be rewarded by a great read.
If this book had not been chosen by my book club I would probably not have read it but was so glad it was! It was our most popular read in the club in 2 or 3 years.
Thank you for registering the book - if you like the bookcrossing website and decide to join please say Numberfour sent you.

Thanks to Numberfour for releasing this book. I really liked it. It is a dystopia as a father and son trek through the wasteland which America has become on a journey towards the coast. Their survival is always in doubt as they struggle to keep hunger and cold at bay against the backdrop of myriad dangers they face from day to day. In the end the dystopia is challenged by what I think we could call Hope.

Both terrifying and beautful, it is about us all, about the best and the worst of mankind, and it would be impossible to recommend it too hightly. thanks no4
