The end of a tale...
I went to Bekenham Park on a hunting trip since there had been a couple of books set loose there yesterday/ today. Within moments of my arrival I spied a plastic bag. YAY my very first find. BUT...
The book was saturated. : ( Someone (or something) had ripped a hole in the corner of the bag and from the state of the book it had then been used as an experiment in flotation in the nearby pond. A pity, really as it was a book that I would like to read one day.
I laid the book to rest in the round filing recepticle as it was too far gone to be brought home and dried out.
