Bought from the library, because I could not resist the temptation.

This book certainly was action-packed. The language didn't capture me, but the plot had so many twists and turns that I was kept entertained all the same. I was a bit disappointed of the way things ended with Danny, though. A lifetime of abuse isn't made up just by saying "whoops, I'm sorry". I thought the girl needed psychiatric help, which she obviously didn't get. The stepfather also needed to be sued for what he did, and I'm not sure if that happened, either. Maybe the police got him just for the burglaries and the break-ins.

There's More to Life is in fact a ghost story, and I was reading it in rather creepy circumstances: at night in bed, in a house by the graveyard, the graveyard being just behind the bedroom window. What's more, there were strange squeals from the graveyard at night, and blood on the stairs in the morning. There were cats in the house, though, so the squeals and growls were most likely cats fighting, and the blood on the stairs was mouse blood. Still, a wonderful scene to read a ghost story, don't you think?

Book was okay but with too many improbable situations/accidents.
I released it yesterday at the local bookcrossing-event and it found a new reader there.
