Interesting, but I never got a real sense of why the author was interested in the topic. There were some GREAT stories included, but it seemed as if the author interviewed a lot of women, but used the same three or four over and over again.
Passing it along in the chain. Thanks!

Received as part of a book ring - will read as soon as I finish HARRY POTTER and the ORDER OF THE PHOENIX!!!
While I also found this book repetitive in parts - there were lots of parts that were very enlightening and a reminder that there is "nothing new under the sun". How comforting that thought is! While I have a love/hate relationship with my own breasts, I guess I'll keep them at least a while longer (though those marks in my shoulders from the bra straps are pushing me in a different direction). I thought Spadola's book was extremely fair and balanced and didn't criticize those who choose to breastfeed vs. those who do not or those who choose breast implants/reductions over those who do not. I gave the book a 6/10 only because it was quite dry and I felt it could have been made more interesting. But kudos to Spadola for writing such a well-researched book at such a young age!
