Picked up at this morning's meetup. Looks like it might be interesting - sort of the original Year in Provence.

A lovely evocation of the atmosphere of Provence. Some of her comments about the local peasants were interesting in how much they reveal about the attitudes of the time - she is so condescending to them (even when using their expertise) and often refers to them as being like children.

Started reading this book today. (Wednesday 30)
Finished the last few pages while I waited for R to pick me up after todays meetup.
It really has taken me a month to read it, only get a few pages read at night can take a while.
It was nice to read another book about Provence and their ways.
