Pretty typical Dale Brown: well researched on the current US military arsenal and likely visionary on the next stage of development. It's a contemporary tale pitting the white hats [US] against Iran and the Soviets.
The beginning of the book hints at some prior Dale brown novel where the Russkies successfully launch a sneak air attack on the US. The ending of this book leaves enough unanswered questions to imply a sequel, but those questions are unanswered in a way that detracted from my overall enjoyment.
