David Sedaris is by far one of my favorite authors when it comes to dysfunctional childhoods. He's a riot!! This was the first DS book I read and it has been on my book shelf for 6 years and I've loaned it out to many friends and relatives (who are also big Sedaris fans).
I've read the chapter "Jesus Shaves" in an anthology, but I haven't yet read the entire book. Thanks, donner60!
Although I no longer enjoy Sedaris as much as I once did, I found most of this book very funny. I am offering it in the Already Bookcrossed VBB.

I chose this book from the Potluck Book Box that came today. This happens to be a book that one of my friends recommended to me. I've also never read anything from this author before.
I loved this book! Nearly every essay had me laughing. I mean the kind of laugh that makes your eyes water and your stomach hurt. I enjoyed this book so much that I have added all of David Sedaris' books to my want to read list.
