from a batch obtained on craigslist for releasing. haven't read this one so will be putting it on my to-be-read pile first before it goes out in the world. this copy is missing the first 2 pages of text, but i was able to log on to Amazon.com, do a search for the book by title and find an offering with the "Look Inside" option so i could read those 2 pages and about a paragraph that are missing. hope the next reader will be able to do the same - or perhaps i can find a way to print those and add them to the inside of the book before it begins its travels.

mark this book 'dead' as it now sleeps in the landfill. sadly this paperback copy was not in great shape when i got it. as i picked it up to begin reading i noticed pages started at 11. didn't ruin the read for me but as i read more pages fell out. tried to salvage them for potential repair in the beginning but so many fell out it seemed best just to can this copy when i was done reading today. so, into the bin at the Canton Marketplace IHOP this one went. not a bad read though i somehow felt a bit of deja vu as though i might have read it before. i don't see another copy here on my BC shelf though so i kind of doubt it.
