The Eye in the Door
3 journalers for this copy...
The second volume in 'The Regeneration Trilogy' which was winner of the 1995 Booker Prize. It centres on the terrible trauma suffered by young First World War veterans, but is also about gender, class, truth, survival and love.
I found it grim yet gripping, I picked it up on a whim and am now thinking I should check out the first and the last parts.

Found the book on the seat outside the pub on our way home from "girls weekend" in Hanmer Springs on Sunday 8 Feb '09.
It's not really the sort of book I usually read but gave it a go anyway.
Planning on taking it for a plane ride over the ditch to Brisbane at the end of March. Will keep and eye on it to see how far it goes!
