I love this author and will offer this as a bookray when finished.

Journal Entry 2 by top-tappser from Lake Tapps, Washington USA on Saturday, July 5, 2008
Loved this series. Missed Lindsay in books 2 and 3. You would have thought that after she was the main character in book 1 she would at least be mentioned a little more. Maddy seems to be more prevelant than Lindsay. It did tie up the loose ends though and would love to think that maybe Macomber will bring us back here in a few years as this large batch of offspring grow up a little. So, we could see just how well Buffalo Valley faired.

Update! July 16, 2008
I have been told that encore is now available and called Buffalo Valley. When I find and read it I will check with each of you on the spiral to find if you want to be included. I will be waiting for paperback since it is traveling international.

Book arrived today. I should be finishing up my current read today or tomorrow and will get right to this. I can't wait to see what is happening with all my old friends in Buffalo Valley.

Donduckandy asked to be skipped in this bookring.

I have enjoyed getting to know everyone in Buffalo Valley. As top-tappser stated, it would have been nice to hear from Lindsay again since she started the series. In both Dakota Home and this book, Lindsay and her family are mentioned but not heard from. I have enjoyed this series and look forward to the next installment of what is happening in Buffalo Valley.

I will be holding this book until book #2, Dakota Home arrives with sunfi.

I enjoyed this story, I did feel that there was a certain amount of closure with the characters. I was concerned that there would be numerous unfinished pieces but I don't see any and for that I'm glad. Looking back over all three books, I think I still liked the second book best. The characters and story line seemed so much deeper and more complex, at least to me. I already have Wandering-B's address so as soon as I mail them I'll make the release notes.

Arrived today - hooray! A lovely bookstring inside which I will send on with the books when I've read them!

Last in the Dakota trilogy, which I have really enjoyed. The town continues to flourish, established couples settle and negotiate their way into the community and new friendships are forged. Margaret Clemens, the most unfeminine of ranch owners, manages to snag her man in unorthodox fashion, thinking she knows better than her doubting friends...

A lovely book and a good end to an excellent series. Macomber always gives good value!

I am going to send this on to Anglersrest in a few days as I just sent her the other volume and I know she has a few more rings on the go too! Don't worry - I'll send it within the month since I got it!

Journal Entry 17 by calalilly from Waterlooville, Hampshire United Kingdom on Friday, March 13, 2009
From reading the second book in the series I went straight into this one, normally I would like to read something by a different author in between.
I also enjoyed reading this one. It did tie up a lot of things but there were things that I thought I would like to read more about, but then that's always the way. It's then you wish the series would continue and looking on FantasticFiction I saw that there was a 4th book called Buffalo Valley so I'm hoping that perhaps top-tappser will comes across a copy of this and send it out on a ring.
Passing this on to Purplerosebud today.

Journal Entry 18 by purplerosebud from Petersfield, Hampshire United Kingdom on Friday, March 13, 2009

Journal Entry 24 by skizeye9 from Washington, District of Columbia USA on Tuesday, July 21, 2009
Margaret is a character and I'm glad to see there is redemption for Matt. Axel breaks my heart. Would love to see a little more for Hassie. Would have liked more of a conclusion for Heath & Rachel as well. Liked seeing Calla grow up. This one probably comes in last for me though, with Dakota Home coming in first and Dakota Born coming in second.

Will try to mail this and Dakota Home by the end of this week!

I loved this trilogy. I wish it would just go on and on. I'd never tire of the group of people in Buffalo Valley, North Dakota! Matt and Maggie stuck it out and things ended perfectly for them. So gald I had the chance to read this series. Sending both books 2 and 3 on tomorrow!

I've been trying to make up for the several months that I had abandoned Book Crossing and not passing book rings/rays along. So I sincerely apologize for holding on to this series for so long.

That being said I absolutely loved this whole series. The stories were happy and uplifting. Any conflict had good resolution. The Dakota series was one of those romantic (not sleezy) feel good set of books. It also opened me up to a new general and author. I will look for more Debbie Macomber.

I will contact RustyReader2 and ship them out when funds are available.
