"Alone and heartbroken in the wilderness that was 19th century Omaha, Keeley Delaney yearned for a new life. What she found was a love as vast and untamed as the windswept Nebraska plains." from back cover
Offered this up in the BookRelay and decided to read it before shipping it out. This is a simple and refreshing love story, that is realistic, not overly romantic, nor nauseatingly full of harlequin romance type love scenes. Keeley is attracted to Prue and "the grass is always greener syndrome," that seems to be a constant in eveyone's lives, tosses her back and forth in her feelings for Attie, whom she lives with. Simple, realistic and I really enjoyed it.
I offered this in the Gay and Lesbian BookRelay. Shipped it out to Sophie100, 10-30-03.
Arrived in the mail yesterday. Thanks. Will read and release.
