A Long Way Down

Nick Hornby is one of my favorite writers. I would recommend any of his books for a read.
From the back: One New Year's Eve, four people with very different reasons but a common purpose, find their way to the top of a fifteen-story building in London. None of them has calculated that, on a date humans favor for acts of significance, in a place known as a local suicide-jumpers' favorite, they might encounter company. This is the story of what happens next, and what doesn't.

Finished this one up last night and enjoyed it very much. I've never read anything by Hornby before -- will have to check out more by him. (Sorry for the short, crap JE, but I'm just exhausted after a long day at work and need some sleep. Will try and ammend this later and be more expressive.)
Journal Entry 4 by Firegirl at Arizona State Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona USA on Friday, September 26, 2008
Released 15 yrs ago (9/26/2008 UTC) at Arizona State Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona USA
WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Left on the second floor of Ironwood building -- an area accessable only by staff. I figured what better place to leave a fiction book about suicide than the mental hospital? (You have a sense of humor about it if you work there, trust me.) This book qualifies as part of the "Keep Them Moving" release challenge.
