My faveorite part was possibly the ending. It had me going "awww". Normally these types of books aren't my style, but my style for reading lately hasn't exactly been on key, so this suited me well for now. It's too good for me to keep it to myself. I believe this shall become a bookring.

US BOOKRING

The Few Rules.

1. Please do not keep the book any longer than you have to. Remember, there are others after you.

2. If the person after you does not respond to your PMs within two weeks or so, email the next person on the list after that person.

3. Journal the book upon arrival so I know it is safe and sound.

4. Be honest on how you felt about the book when you journal after reading. If you didn't like it, oh well, maybe next time. If you loved it, proclaim it.

5. As a rule, I do not move people once they are in a set order. If need arises, I will, as long as there is a definite and sure reason why. Though this being a US only ring, I do not think we shall have a problem.

6. Remember, treat the book as your own.

7. Have fun, duhhh. (:

Arrived safely today! I chuckled when I read your note about your maniac dog. Forgiven - with a little scratch behind the ears for good measure. (He/She just wanted a taste of what captured mom's attention instead of him/her.)

Will start reading it this evening and am PMing next in line for addy.

I found this book hard to get into at first. I think it was because the author kept using the whole name of the characters and he was very descriptive putting in what I call extra fluff which I don’t think was needed. But once I got past page thirty, I was interested. I think it was a very well written book with themes of love and death, memories and age.

I would recommend this book to others and look forward to reading everyone’s journaling! Sending to WhimzyKat today.

I received this book a couple of days ago. I'm going to pass it along though because I have decided to read Marquez's books in the original language (spanish). I am contacting anthy18 for their address.
