Four travelers come together on a Ringworld, a huge earthen ring rotating around a sun. They need to figure out how to survive in the alien environment and perhaps try to find out why they have been brought together.
This is a somewhat typical SF book from the 60s-70s: There's one big idea but there's really no interesting story to tell regarding that idea, so the book left me wondering whyever I read it. Still, it wasn't actively bad, just uninteresting.
