Fantasy/historical fiction/romance novel - many things for many readers.
Claire and Jamie's family is safe with them but may not be for long. The American Revolution is three years down the road, Claire's knowledge of the event forces Jai=mie to choose sides. Brianna and Roger adjust to life in primitive New England with it's beauty, simplicity, and danger.
This novel is as enjoyable as those preceding it, Outlander really hooked my on the series. Thanks again to my wonderful daughter-in-law (hi, Christine!) for getting me started and thanks SO much for giving me the books!
I'd recommend this series to just about anyone; it's well written and very entertaining. There's enough genre crossover to keep us all happy! I hope you like this as much as I did.
