In North America, only the south western part of the country up to Canada have survived out of the entire USA. Remote farms, some villages and two cities contain people, and the cities are dying beccause of gang warfare and disease.
A tale of mans' destructive use of his environment, the ongoing reach for dictatorship, and the hope of saving the planet is well told and extremely believable.
It's been a long time since I've read a novel that's kep me up waaay past my bedtime because I just had to find out how it all ends. This is novel is a page-turner.
This is the second novel by Tepper that I've read, but it won't be the last! I hop you enjoy it as muchy as I did.
