The story was good. Almost, but not quite, a timetravel/historical fiction. Almost, but not quite, a ghost story. Somewhat a romance/love story.
There were times the writing didn't impress me; I found the switches in POV to be distracting sometimes rather than smooth. Also the premise of the journal worked to a degree, but clearly the reader would be getting different info than what would truly have been in the journal. Still, if you suspend believe enough to just enjoy a romantic and "second chances happen" kind of romp, it's worth the read.
