I got a belated birthday parcel from a friend yesterday as we were unable to meet up as usual for my birthday due to the death of my father. The parcel contained 3 lovely bars of Green & Blacks chocolate and two books, one of which was this one which I've already read so I've registered it for releasing.

Totally unbelievable! Today at the Italian lesson (I’m learning Italian as a fourth foreign language) we were reading an article about bookcrossing.com, discussing the idea and the grammar. Nobody heard of it before but something rang a bell. On the way home I thought of a book my mother brought from a trip to Italy three years ago. A captain of a little boat on Lago di Garda gave it to her and said something like people keep passing it to each other so the book travels. She said she didn’t understand but it supposed to be explained on a sticker. I was too busy to care and just put it on a book shelf.

After coming home from the Italian class, still thinking of bookcrossing and getting very curious, I took the book off the shelf and here it is!

I found the book in "offener Bücherschrank" which is situated at Westbahnstrasse / corner Zieglergasse (in Vienna) on friday, 25th march 2011.

Let's see, if the book will be found and continue its journey...
