Many thanks MeGeerts (a true BCer wanting to keep this book moving!) recieved in the post yesterday & I can't wait to read it. I will balance it on the top of TBR & get on to it asap!

I found the story both amusing & devastating. I think we all have an idea of how immigrants to the UK are mistreated and this is an eventful & funny tale following a somewhat bizarre group and their adventures one summer which all start off with harmless strawberry picking in Kent.

It's an interesting read as well as a comic (rather black humour at times!) tale. I actually really liked the commentary from dog as well as each of the characters.
