This book is a bit like Fever Pitch in that it itself is quite interesting and amusing, but it has been responsible for creating a genre, the great bulk of which is neither (including this author's subsequent outings.) But if you want to read a "Round (insert country name here) with a (insert absurd and not easily portable article here)" book, you might as well read this one; as far as I'm aware it was the first.
