This was the second book that I read in this series (actually it is perhaps 8th) and I liked it even more than the first one. Cozy but interesting, nice characters and not too violent! Sending this to Annelis next, and then to Annimanni.

Well, I did not dig out that unfinished tablecloth - yet. Anyway this book made my fingers itchy like I wanted to do something. And I do! I am sewing and knitting clothes for my granddaughhter's dolls.This is a very nice story!
The book is not on Annimanni's wishlist anymore.

This arrived just in time for Christmas! Thank you so much Annelis, it was perfect holiday reading, and I wolfed it down on Christmas Day. I love this series, both the mystery aspect and the chat about what all the characters are making - even more so at the minute while I can't meet up with my knitting group. I am now off to see if it is on any other wishlists. Thank you again for thinking of me.

Thank you very much for this wishlist book and for the chocolate! I have to say I’m not very handy myself (except that I’m a mean sock knitter) but I do enjoy reading cozy mysteries about those who are.

Once again a quick and entertaining read! For me too this was the second book I read in this series. So I really have no idea of what has been told before of the main character Betsy but by these two books I feel like I “know” the other recurring characters and their stories better than her and hers.

Better late than never. This really is an oldie on the road, it was registered before I became a bookcrosser! I have personally met every bookcrosser who have had this book before me EXCEPT Chania, so I am waiting to finally see her in Porvoo in September, where we will have a bookcrossers' activity day, a book buffet, a guided tour with a local mystery writer (who has put bookcrossers in her latest book!) and a delicious dinner.

I've just began reading this, but came here to comment that I hate it when writers get simple details wrong - like opening a tin of Science Diet dry food... We don't sell Hill's anymore, but dry food never comes in a tin. It's as ridiculous as if she wrote that Betsy opened a tin of yarn.
Finished. An ok read, even if I'm not a nutty knitter.

Ok, so this was a "cozy mystery" - so cozy I kept dozing off... I'm not a knitter or needlepointer so that may be part of it. I do admire people's skills in the area and enjoy watching the finished works, but reading about it - not so much. I also felt the dialogue was a bit dragging... So, not truly captivating for me, sorry.
