Sending as part of Summer Gift Giving to thegoaliegirl. Enjoy!
Thanks for sending this wishlist book my way. What an unexpected surprise! Thank you so very much!
This was an interesting book. I've picked this one up and somehow always put it back a few times now over the years. So I sat down and started it and really enjoyed it. Then I just found it in my pile of books that I've read and haven't journaled from a few months ago. Will set aside for my next travel narrative bookbox. Thanks again for sending it to me!

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Sent out in the 2018 thegoaliegirl's travel narrative bookbox to start the box off!
I'm claiming this from the Travel Narrative bookbox. I enjoyed Drinkwater's first book The Olive Farm, and was glad of a chance to read more about her life.
Later: There were definitely more ups and downs here than I'd expected, including some trying times with the business AND with her home life, but I like the author's attitude (and writing style), and it was enjoyable getting to spend more time in the region - not least when she found herself with nothing to harvest and opted to go exploring! While I doubt I'll be doing any intercontinental traveling any time soon, there were some really tempting descriptions here of places I'd love to visit...

Journal Entry 7 by GoryDetails at Main Street in Damariscotta, Maine USA on Wednesday, August 8, 2018
I plan to leave this book on a bench or window ledge in Damariscotta this afternoon, while on a road trip with a friend. (I definitely want to sample the local oysters!) Hope the finder enjoys the book!
