A wandering book -- the karma of literature! This is one of my all time favorites. An alternate history. A future scientist believes that by changing some ofthe outcomes of events in the past, she can alter human history from a tragedy of bloodshed and brutality to a world filled with hope and healing. Wonderful engrossing story! I picked it up recently to send to a fellow bookcrosser.
