if you have found this book, welcome to bookcrossing and thank you for taking the time to let us know about it's journey.
feel free to enjoy the book and pass it along to a friend, neighbor, family member or co-worker. or simply leave it somewhere for another lucky reader to enjoy as you did!
this book not your type of read? that's ok, don't feel obliged to read it - just be kind enough to help it on it's journey.
if you haven't yet done so, please take some time to look around this wonderful site of caring, giving readers. should you decide to join, i'd be most honored to have you use my screen name (tempestsans) as your referral. if you join, each time this book (or any you register or find in the future) is picked up and journaled you'll get a notice letting you know of it's travels. i currently have books in such far away places as California, Canada, Romania, the UK, Iran, Italy,Japan, Iraq (both with our troops and with the people), New Zealand and Australia!
was interested to find taped inside the front cover the receipt for this book. it was apparently purchased new on 4/21/2005 in the Cincinnati/N. Kentucky International Airport in Hebron KY as part of the read and return program. appears that the purchaser, like me, believed they would be back in the airport or another that supports this program within the required 6 month window and then that did not happen...made it a positive for me as it provided the book at a thrift store in excellent condition for me to pick up, read and then release here!
welcome to bookcrossing and happy reading!

alright, i have tried and tried and tried for 2 weeks now to read and get into this book. i adore this author and have devoured everything he has written which has come into my hands up until now. it's not that this book isn't good, or the content subject or that the writing is less than before...i just can't get into the story and can't figure out why. heck, i'm of german descent and this is heavily based in germany so you'd think that alone would do it for me but it hasn't.
so, that being said, i've decided to let myself off the hook and put this one out into the wild as a release. hopefully someone else will enjoy it now/soon. i am also giving myself permission not to feel bad about not reading this book to the end and to get another copy of it at some other date/time down the road and try again...perhaps i just need something light and fluffy for a change since there is so much drama in my life right now (elderly parent in/out of hospital with serious issues, traveling for work, grown daughter moving back in with me and unemployed, announcement that my dept will be reduced by 66% this year...just a bit of stress)
hope whomever gets this book next is able to enjoy it fully!
